As Gov. Cuomo and Pres. Trump activated and spun up domestic manufacturing to address the urgent need, Work From Home volunteer sewers were no longer needed. We were the first in the nation to do this and it sparked thousands of identical initiatives across the country. Through creative thinking, fast action, and Rochester's willingness to serve - our local hospitals and living centers had masks and stayed operational through the worst of the pandemic.

Thank you to all who helped, offered to help, and gave of their time, materials, and talents.

Let's learn from this and never again be as unprepared as we were in 2020.
